Installing The GWT Eclipse Plugin

o Select:–> Help > Install New Software…
o Click:–>Add
o Leave the [Name:] blank
o Click:–>Archive, select the
H:\gwtsandbox\bin\com.google.gdt.eclipse.suite.4.3.update.site_3.8.0.zip
o Click:–> Open
o Click:–> Ok
o Click [Select All] Button
o Make sure these checkbox are selected:–>
Show only the latest…
Group item by category
Contact al update sites…
o Click:–> Next
o Click for [Install Remediation Page]:–> Next
o Click for [Install Details]:–> Next
o Check:–> I accect the terms of the license…
o Click:–> Finish

o Eclipse will wiz on by for a minute or two
o Click for [Security Warning]:-> OK
o On the [Software Updates]–> Click Yes
o Select Yes to restart Eclipse
o Your eclipse environment will be ready for use
o You should see the Google plugin icon at the navigation bar
o A message about [Android SDK] will appear, ignore it
o Select Workbench at the top right

o Using this approach we will not see what GWT is
doing under the hood. That is why I chose the
first method above.
o Select:–> Help > Install New Software…
o Enter for Name:–> https://dl.google.com/eclipse/plugin/4.3
o Hit Enter key
o Click:–> Ok
o Click [Select All] Button
o Make sure these checkbox are selected:–>
Show only the latest…

o Follow the same steps for: “Select Default Options”
