List of companies using GWT as internet, not intranet

I am about to go back into the GWT world again as of January 2015 I about to leave a unique experience of creating medical applications using Appfuse, heavy Jquery with a rule based applications using Antlr and Drools. Nice experience!

But I really like GWT on some of my past companies. GWT was used mainly for intranet applications. I am really curious on GWT internet usage, beside Google Adsense. I am not sure if GWT is in high used these days, or has it really grown up for internet apps. My last use was around 2011 – GWT 2.0. Who is using GWT for internet applications?

James Gosling is known as the father of the Java programming language and conceived the language around 1984 to 2010. He created the original design of Java and implemented the language’s original compiler and virtual machine. Gosling traces the origins of the approach to his early graduate-student days.

Java is an island island of Indonesia. Of course it has people, sun and an ocean. Is this the Java I am thinking about – no!

100px-Java_logo is a programming language and computing platform first released by Sun Microsystems in 1995. It is a computer programming language that is concurrent, class-based, object-oriented, and specifically designed to have as few implementation dependencies as possible.

More important, that’s how millions of people and company are making a living. I think it as a revolution in the world of IT.
